There is a similar listing online for the same exact item with a msrp of 140 instead
of 189 for the one linked.

Similar, but not the same item. This deal is for the 1010N, you linked to the 1010. The 1010 tops out at 125psi and lacks the front mounted gauges, reg, and coupling. Note that they erroneously included a single pic of the 1010N on the web page, the rest of the pics are correct for the 1010.

I'd take either if I could get one for under $100. Great little quiet compressors for small nailers/staplers.

popular portable punch list compressor light. that said i don't use it much anymore due to cordless. though i use it in my shop as air tools are much smaller.

Senco is a great brand. I have owned the older 1010 and just picked up this 1010N last week. Great for brad nailers and I use it as compressed air for cleaning computers in the rack.

Our (oregon) clearance price is $133 not $95 though. I will keep watch and ask for a price match when it hits.

****update: the clearance price of $95 just hit my store this morning. Got some cash back.

These are significantly quieter, higher quality, much smaller, more portable, and deliver a lot less air than that big noisy Craftsman one.
