I use these to watch shows and movies at night, the dialogues are clear and you will hear every little detail through these
The downside of open back is if your HVAC is loud, you will hear that as well
I should stock up
Also JT1 came with inline mic if you are interested in like gaming headset
Which other open backs did you get? I ended up with the hifiman xs
If you have double the budget the Fidelio X2HR will sound better but the SHP9500 are still more comfortable due to its lightweight design.
