No one is buying spindrift interchangeably with generic natural-flavored supermarket branded carbonated water. The whole point of spindrift is that it contains real fruit juice. Thus it's priced higher than the brands that don't.

Of course it's documented. Aluminum cans typically have some type of plastic lining. In things like soda, this is an absolute must. For example, a can of coke would erode the aluminum into your beverage before you even had a chance to purchase it, and it could be toxic to you. The lining also maintains the substance so it does not lose its flavor.

Op indicated the flavors available and unfortunately Grapefruit is not one of them but still got the orange...... Spindrift is becoming my (n/a) drink of choice... in a can (not plastic), low cal/carb, tastes great.
