Any battery geeks here know how easy and where you can drop off old battery packs like this that are bad or you don't want anymore?

can't throw out (well shouldn't as i suppose u can do anything u want)

can't bring to landfill

I've heard any store like a staples or home depot that sells portable battery packs HAS to take old ones back from you and they properly dispose.
---What I'm getting at is how "easy" or common is this, will the standard employee give me a surprised Pikachu face and get a manager or is it like oh yeah no problem?
---Also DEC website in some states says legally they have to so you should report them if they refuse.

I haven't gone inside any BB / Staples stores for months, but they used to have drop box for e-waste by the door. No question asked.

My local landfill has a spot designated for ewaste before you get to the actual entrance. It i filled with pcs, tvs, batteries. Call your city or county if they don't have any info about it on their websites.

Nope. AFAIK recycle fee is paid upfront when you purchase the item. Check your state regulation, it may varies. We live in CA.

The two displays are different. The 140w one has a charge/discharge rate display along with an estimated time to full/empty at the current charge/discharge rate.

The 100w one only tells you % remaining.

140w one can change between simple % display or charge/discharge display.

Just my two cents. I bought a similar ugreen power bank and what makes these types of power banks unique is their high voltage output. I use mine to power my travel CPAP. Honestly compare the price of these to like a Zopec mini for a CPAP and the savings are huge.
