The 2950/2951s are $80 which is still 20% off this retail "deal"
One nice thing with these IoT devices vs the regular kits that might not be obvious, but I loaned mine to my parents and my sister. Both of them were able to check different rooms in their house by moving the sensor around to see if there were differences. My county has a free kit every year during radon mitigation month, but you can only check 1 area, 1 time.

"In addition to monitoring radon, temperature and humidity Corentium Home 2 delivers more value. The detector is built on an improved sensor technology (developed by Airthings engineers), offering even more reliable data than the first version. The device connects to the Airthings app, providing real-time status of radon levels and other insights, such as a comparison of radon levels in your neighborhood. In addition, the app will offer personalized advice on how to mitigate the risk."
- A better sensor
- Connects to their App, it does that today also but maybe they will introduce Wi-Fi instead of bluetooth
- Compare radon levels in your Neighborhood, every basement is different so not sure this helps, you can look at general radon levels at gov website
- Advice on mitigation
not sure if it's worth waiting for new model.

It's not a TV or a Mac or an iPhone.
IMO this gen is enough of a breakthrough that empowers the homeowner to track this and be informed. All you need to know is if you need to call in a professional. This one will tell you that.
