Deal Details
Walmart has Bose Smart Soundbar 550 w/ Dolby Atmos for $199. Shipping is free, otherwise free store pickup is available where stock permits.

Note: Availability for pickup may vary by location.

Thanks to Deal Hunter Eragorn for finding this deal.

Features:
  • Only TrueSpace elevates it all. Dolby Atmos is great for elevating the sound experience of certain movies and TV. But most content isn't Atmos-encoded. For full immersion all the time, there's Bose TrueSpace technology. No matter what you're watching, TrueSpace intelligently analyzes signals other than Dolby Atmos, like stereo or 5.1, and up-mixes them to create an immersive multi-channel sound experience. Instruments, dialogue, and effects are separated, then placed around the room. A.I. Dialogue Mode automatically balances voice and surround sound for ultra-crisp vocal clarity, so you hear every word without sacrificing immersive elements.
  • Big-time tech for a small soundbar. It wouldn't be a Bose soundbar if it weren't packed full of technology. The acoustic architecture of Soundbar 550 squeezes five transducers — including two that fire upward — into its compact frame. They all work together to spread sound around your room: horizontally left, right, and forward, but most importantly above to reflect off the ceiling
  • Streaming. Any way you want. If you can get it on your phone, you can hear it through the Bose Soundbar 550. And no matter what you stream, it all sounds deep and rich. Connect to Wi-Fi to access integrated music services and internet radio stations through the app. Or stream songs and video with Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, or Chromecast built-in. It's your entertainment — you choose how you stream it

Picked this up last sale. The soundbar clarity is amazing. I picked up the bose 500 sub woofer when it was on sale for 399. The sub makes the sound bar 100 times better IMO but the 550 soundbar is still great by itself. Grab the sub woofer when it goes on sale or check for best buy open box.

how well does this connect to LG OLED TV and Apple TV device?thanks!
Connect via your arc or earc hdmi port on your tv and the bose 550. Your apple tv device connects to one of your open hdmi ports on your LG tv.

It worked for me. You need to plug a 3.5mm Stereo male plug into the soundbar and have adapters to end with a female RCA plug that connects with a male to male RCA cable that ends in the sub. And you have to enable a bass module in the Bose Sound app.Or maybe the adapter mentioned in the thread -- 3.5mm Stereo male to RCA female. Some have mentioned that the 3.5mm plug must be stereo, not mono. Stereo has two black rings on the plug.
Which adapter are you using? The stereo 3.5mm only comes w/dual (right/left) rcas. Any mono rca (single connection) will only have the 1 line. Are you saying it won't work for subs that only have one connection? (I already got the bose 500 subwoofer, but have an old sony subwoofer from one of my old set ups and may give it a go just for kicks)

Don't really need one but bought one to compare to my polk soundbar with subwoofer. I can't imagine this sounds that much better without a subwoofer.

I tried this soundbar and I had to turn it up about 30 so I can hear. I returned it.

Please for the love of god, go buy this one. Got this two weeks ago and loving it so far.
Can you tell me if it's dual voltage 110v-220v or just 110v? I'm stationed overseas, so would need dual voltage. Using a transformer is just a big hassel. DLed the user's manual and it didn't mentioned. Thanks.

Does anyone happen to know if this can be wall mounted and if so if it comes with hardware? I don't have a TV stand or table nearby, but I could add one if necessary. I just picked up the 55" TCL deal and these should land the same day.

According to the PDF for the soundbar (if I have the right one),
https://assets.bose.com/content/d...lub_en.pdf [bose.com]

They are pretty crazy expensive and more than double the cost of just the soundbar at this sale price. The 500 model was down to $400 from November to Christmas but is back up to it's msrp.
this is why i would rather get an AV receiver and speaker set .
this deal here is much better than that Bose combined with surround speaker. deal is expired but they do come and go offen https://slickdeals.net/f/17299819-jamo-speakers-2x-s-809-floor-s-83-center-2x-s-803-onkyo-tx-nr6050-...

I have some tiny wired speakers from an old Bose system. Anyone know if I can connect those plus a polk sub to this sound bar, all wired? I have a full polk system but I don't like my tower speakers in the family room, takes up too much space so looking to downsize while retaining true 5.1

What Polk soundbar/sub combo you got? Currently looking for combos that work well with large screen (100".)

i dont know much about speakers . Would this be good using it as computer speakers specifically for music or watching content. Or would it be really bad value . I heard soundbars are the worst possible type of speaker.
