Yes be worried it usually comes right away. Check your spam folder. Usually if you go to Newegg and check your purchase history they will list the purchase and the code there. At least they did for me last year.

I always find it funny that foks wait so long just to maybe save $5 or $6. This deal is good enough for me and it allows me to get a head start on filing my taxes. The sooner I get them done the better.

Anyone know if you can import directly from Robinhood? You could before and then Robinhood removed that and made a deal to only allow import into turbo tax a few years ago. Website makes you think you can but I'm not sure if it's just not updated or if they added the ability back.

Employers generally have a Jan 31 deadline for W2 form mailing. Banks may not have your 1099-INT form mailed until February. My brokerage sends the first version of their tax forms in late February, and corrections in March.

In those cases waiting until February to buy is fine, unless you are plugging in final paycheck numbers as a starting point to get an idea of what payment/refund you are facing while you wait for official forms.

And this year with download issues seen with Newegg and Amazon purchases, I'm waiting as long as possible for those to get ironed out because I prefer to pay less and not deal with that hassle.

True, most average joe wont get all their 1099s until end of Feb and thats when the discount will end and comes back about last 2 weeks of the filing deadline. If you want deals, now until mid Feb and first week of April is when you will see the most discounts. Cool
