If this is the crappy one made in China or elsewhere, then not a good deal at all.

I love this machine.
I also use this to cook things like Quinoa
For Japanese rice cookers, this is a on the lower middle end of the spectrum, but higher end ones have features that probably make little difference to most people. Rice will be more or less as good.

I bought the induction model today since the deal was too good, but now I'm thinking maybe just buy another neuro fuzzy (I need a second rice cooker for a vacation home). Anyone used both and have thoughts on this vs. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BXZ72MTM?th=1
