Why no one is commenting on this watch? C'mon watch aficionados, grace us with your knowledge and experience about why you do/don't think this is a good deal?
I am not a watch collector but have general interest in watches. I read the comments just for education.
Lol at the "experts" in these comments. I've actually owned a Hamilton Aviator similar to this model for over 10 years. At the price point you basically won't find this quality bracelet, movement and dial from most other brands under $500. They make tanks that take a beating and still look great years later!

In the grand scheme of watch sizing, 42mm diameter isn't crazy large. However this having basically no bezel (unlike dive watches for example) means it will appear much larger on the wrist. The size is pretty normal for an aviation style watch though.
Not a bad deal but it's not my style.

Good price for a good watch. 42mm too big for average person, but will work for larger wrists. For those not aware, Hamilton is lower midrange in terms of the Swatch group. I would say it's probably swatch-->certina-->tissot-->Hamilton-->Longines-->Omega in terms of some of their better known brands (in order from lower range to higher range). It's a good watch brand and the movement is made by ETA (also owned by Swatch group). If I got a Hamilton I would personally go for a Hamilton Khakhi or Hamilton Jazzmaster over this one, but it's subjective depending on your taste.

Quick blurb for you. This sale is a pretty great deal. It looks a lot like the famous Interstellar watch known as the Coop. Its the Khaki Aviation Pilot Day Date Auto model
Both use the same automatic movement and although I prefer the Coop looks, this sale saves you a bunch of money for a very similar look. People rave about the Coop so if you bite on this one, know you're getting a solid watch from a well reputable watch maker.
It's a modernized WWII German Luftwaffe "B-Uhren" pilot's watch, also called a "Type B Flieger".
Several German watchmakers produced them. Here's one from A. Lange:

Good to know, thanks.
Is the "Pilot" part refers to the big clear numerals?

The one from Intersteller is called the Murph, not Coop. It comes in 38 and 42mm. The large one has the second hand with "eurika" in braille (as if one can actually read or see it). Hamilton has a few movie related watches. I find them well made and interesting.
As far as the person who said they prefer the "Khaki", there are three categories of them. The Murph is in the Khaki Field category. The one in this post is Khaki Aviator (pilot/flieger-type). The final one is Khaki Navy (dive-type)

Watches I bought in the past always come with fancy boxes. These cheap packaging is the norm now?
Not a bad deal but it's not my style.
