I bought this DLC the last time it was on sale for this much. I just beat it over the Holiday break. If you enjoy the base game, you will likely enjoy this DLC. It contains a more focused storyline and some fun new metal monsters to fight. It also introduces some powerful new legendary weapons and some fun new gameplay mechanics. For $10, I'd say it's definitely worth it.

If you never played the base, I'd wait and buy this all in a bundle in probably the near future. I bought it and didn't get through it because, and I think this is more a me problem, I couldn't get over I had already beaten the main game. Think it also depends on what you got in your gaming queue. Right now, I probably would still be playing because I'm in a bit of a gaming drought. Even spent the last few days playing Infinite Nikki. Wink If that tells you anything.

Seems like a decent place to ask this question. Just got a new PS5 for Christmas, I had horizon zero dawn ( the first game) complete version for PS4 years ago that I just redownloaded, I barely played an hour or it over 4 years ago, should I pony up the extra 10 bucks to get the remastered PS5 version or stick with the regular PS4 version and save a few bucks?

The PS5 version is worth it if you liked it. The graphical upgrade is pretty substantial. Also, you get the dlc with the upgrade and other goodies.

Might as well get the remastered version. They've made quite a few updates. The game has a lot of dialog and the original's lip-sync was not that good. I believe they added some more dialog and did fresh motion capture.

It's a long game; if you are playing for the first time might as well play using the best possible version. $10 is a fair price I think.

I personally have been contemplating buying the upgrade but not sure if I'll ever replay the game. I barely get time to play my backlog of new games. Revisiting older ones might be impossible. I didn't even bother with the DLC for this game even though I had the complete version. It was such a long game, I was satisfied enough with the experience to move on.
