Activated Carbon Filter Lifespan: 25 gallons / 100 liters
The carbon part is can be replaced for 2 / $13 (from the Camelbak store [camelbak.com] directly); looks like it is different (different threading?) from the Go carbon filter which is more readily available on Amazon.
Another reservoir worth considering is the 2L zipper one without a filter, which is also heavily discounted at this price; I have friends who prefer that type of opening over the large mouth.

But the other Crux ones (1.5L, 2L, 3L) are all the same price as well, which are discounted if you need a different size.
Note that Camelbak reservoirs don't have the magnet that Osprey reservoirs have, but you can consider the magnetic tube trap they sell separately link [amazon.com]
