In preparation for the big midwestern storm, I was in the market for a snow blower. For the price to performance standpoint, this is a good deal. Rebate of $249.99 taken off at purchase of this blower, effectively putting It at $249.99 (plus tax) out the door. So 50% off of msrp. I do not know much about this brand, but from some quick research they are a good budget choice. Performance on a single stage blower (gas) at the price point is rare.

YMMV by store as stock is moving on these decently.

The PowerSmart® PSS1210M 21-inch single-stage gas snow blower is powered by a robust 212cc engine, making it a reliable and powerful tool for tackling heavy snowfalls. With a recoil start, this heavy-duty workhorse is ready for action when you need it most. The 21-inch wide intake can handle snow up to 12.5 inches deep, efficiently clearing your pathways and driveways. The powerful engine delivers an impressive snow-throwing distance of up to 35 feet. Its compact design not only ensures effective snow removal but also allows for easy storage, making it a practical choice for any home.

Features
Powerful 212cc engine delivers robust snow-clearing action
21" clearing width and a maximum intake height of 12-1/2" to ensure efficient and thorough snow removal

Junk machines.
Get a used Toro 2 cycle on craigslist or marketplace for $100. Cheap and easy to replace parts and paddles.

I think this is the same snowblower they had on black friday. Agree with previous posters. I have bought off-name gas powered yard tools at Menards before, you will not be able to get parts for these machines when they eventually break. I ran into that with their Yardworks stuff.

Get a used Toro or even MTD. I have 20 year old Toro tractors, snow blowers and still have little issue getting parts, particularly for the engines. MTD is so prevalent, equally easy to get parts even if it is one of the sub-brands.

If Menards is where you shop, the Troybilt stuff is not as dependable in my opinion, however they're also on sale should give you zero headaches for parts since it is an MTD product. Also they carry Ariens and Husqvarna.

Just a thought too, I am on an email chain for their unadvertised specials and they have an Ariens for 299 that is ship to store free.

Home Depot carries this at $399 but the reviews are pretty bad. Only 2.4 stars. I would probably take a pass.

What Customers Say
Summarized by generative AI from text of customer reviews
Customers say the snowblower offers a mix of performance experiences, with some users appreciating its ease of assembly and initial effectiveness on light snow. However, many reviews highlight challenges with pushing the unit, particularly on icy surfaces, and concerns about its design leading to difficulty in maneuverability. While some found it satisfactory for the price, others expressed disappointment in its overall power and durability, suggesting that investing in a higher-quality model may be beneficial.
