Joke answer: tastes like crap!

Half-joke answer: minoxidil was originally used as an oral medication for stomach ulcers and vasodilation for blood pressure.

Serious answer: if you mean finasteride, it's a completely different medication that alters DHT production. It can work, but the side effect list is pretty long.

Inquisitive answer: did you really mean oral minoxidil? Basically discontinued for hair loss years ago but seems to be making a comeback, or at least it's Internet Famous which doesn't mean a lot...
Personally i greatly prefer the foam version. This one caused my scalp to itch. I use the foam version along with finasteride. I started after noticing some recession in my hair line. It has definitely stopped and even reversed since I started. Though I never had much of an issue, just wanted to act preemptively.
People are stressing and their hair is falling out.

Yes, oral is much better than topical and a million times easier to use.

This was posted on here a few days ago and I ordered one.
The expiration on it isn't until August of 2026 so I may order another and be set for a year.
It's way too soon for me to know how well it works but for around $3.50 a month I'm willing to give it a try.

My physician says using both is more effective. I'm currently only on Finasteride but will try monoxidil again to see if it helps. Didn't work in the past alone using the foam.

Most people on here have only been able to find the foam version in store.
This one seems to be an online exclusive.

My order arrived today with an expiration of sept 2026. While it's probably ok for a few months after expiration date, I wouldn't stock up more than 2 years worth. Good thing I only ordered 4.

Minoxidil and Finasteride give temporary hair growth until you keep on taking it. Find a travel deal to Turkey from Costco instead. Get hair transplant.

Seeing a lot of huge minoxidil deals. Like 60% off. What is going on? Maybe some research is about to come out.
