Pretty good price. Will propose it to the wife - although she provides me a dutch oven each day.

Good price on the 5.5 quart. The others have a similar deal posted here a few times a year.

5.5 seems like a smokin deal. Has it ever been cheaper?

The ones that are cheaper priced is there a huge difference between them and this one that's over $100? I'm just wondering cuz I like to get one in the future and I seen a bunch below $80 so I was wondering why this one is so expensive and everybody on the post is excited about it. Thanks for any input and I'm just curious for information not downing the product

Recently at home goods, I found most of these "cheaper" Dutch ovens were made in china. I think Le Creuset are made in France. There are still cheaper alternatives made in the us like staub but there not as cheap as the china ones.

With the china ones I think a lot of people are afraid of metal contamination since this is something they are eating from.

You can get these at Marshall's for way less and sometimes better brands. We got a Le Creuset one for $40 that sells for $300
I was at Marshalls/Home Goods. It was $180 this year for a 5.5 qt., in Black, Chili or Sky Blue. They didn't sell the other thee Woot has online now. HG had 3.5 qt $180 & 5 qt $200 braiser s, 2.75 qt shallow round DO in lapis & flame $180 , and some black oval I think was a 5 qt. @ $230.
