Damn, i dont need a tv but this is a great price. Bad reviews but all of those are based on the shipping experience (damaged tv) or third party seller issues. If purchasing, make sure to check the tv for issues within the return window, a reviewer did not and paid for it

Half price looks like q great deal, but it's sort of like half price on a Ferrari or a Jet. Still can't use it.

Not sure why you'd buy this when you can get TCL 98QM7 for just $300 more, plus free install, from Best Buy.

The QM7 is much better than this TV, not to mention that it has gone on sale for $1999 as recently as 11/21, so just sit tight for another few weeks, and you'll likely see it at the $1999 price again.

Nope, you're not. This TV has no local dimming.

I understand not being able to use a jet, but I could probably force myself to use a Ferrari and I'd be ok.

Bestbuy installs, even Geek Squad are not always what they're cracked up to be. I know some people that have had good installs, but large 100 inch tv's are a different animal. Personally my experience has been one headache after another and has gone on for weeks. I sent them on their way yesterday after being unable to install a level mounting bracket properly for a 98 incher. They installed the bracket several times and were going to put the tv on it when it was clear as day the bracket was way off. Very nice people for sure, but not always crafty or diligent when there is some level difficulty. I installed the mount after they left, dead level and secure. Now I have to get a couple of friends to help me lift it onto the bracket. I can wait a day or so. The alternative would be a very crooked large tv like after the first install a few weeks ago. I will never do a Bestbuy install again. Bring it in, unpack it, put it on a stand? Sure no problem.

That's unfortunate for you. In my case with the 98" qm7, the install from bb was way beyond my expectation. Very professional with outstanding results. The two said for the last month it has been all 98"+ tv installs for them.

It's always luck of the draw. 3 cancellations/reschedules and 5 total appointments are enough for me to say no in the future.
