"speakerdecision" is a worthless site. The only thing that matters is what YOUR ears think, and a home audition is the ONLY way to know.

The Revel Concerta2 deal earlier is better in my opinion.

The only way to get Atmos is to have in-ceiling, on-ceiling, or at the least, "height" speakers, in that order of effectiveness. Those built-in upfiring "Atmos" speakers are just a worthless sales gimmick.

How are these compared to the Klipsch 8060FA? Worth replacing with?

I don't think those speakers are comparable since the Klipsch has Dolby Atmos speaker built into it and this doesn't. I would assume if you bought those Klipsch that Atmos is really important to you and these Wharfedales don't feature it.
Not the one who asked the question but I had no idea about the difference. Thank you!

Depends how much you like the 8060 and as someone pointed out if you use/value the built in Atmos modules.

Going from horn speakers to this are very different sounding.
Worth replacing to you, you would have to listen to actually find out.

On a side note, great to see sales popping up on other brands like this,Revel, Monitor Audio! 👍🏻

I don't even notice the atmos really. It's not that important I just would want great sounding speakers for home theater movies etc. thanks though.

I found a comparison on speakerdecision that compares the two. It seems it's not worth the change.

For HT prob not a huge difference. For music though the 3-way ribbon speakers will be smooth and sound great in particular for vocal heavy music like jazz, singer songwriter, etc. A more refined sound for the discerning ear with music.

For HT the center speaker is much more important than the LR, which don't do that much really and are basically like surrounds. If you are looking to upgrade something then center and sub(s) is a good place to look first since you seem more HT focused.

If you're buying for music, you can get the Wharfedale Linton's for the same price. One of the highest rated speakers on the market today. You'll have to add stands.

Can't comment on these exact speakers, but I have been using the Wharfedale Opus line (back when a step or two above these) for 18 years and still love them. Have the 5.0 setup for Wharfedale and they have worked wonders.

These tend to have good power handling range and need the extra juice to really get them to sing.
