I don't know if that's accurate.

My podiatrist told me to specifically get the Bondi or Gaviota (slight preference for the latter) with my very flat feet.

In any case, I do have custom orthotics in my Gaviota shoes but I wouldn't hesitate at the Bondi either.

Bondi 8's discounted a lot of places right now as the Bondi 9's are dropping soon. If you are a runner with flat feet and knee issues, there is no better shoe on the market.

Thanks, I need wide and the Hoka website is the only place I can find them. There's free shipping if you sign up for their email list and cash back sites have 2-3%

Only for certain colors. Doesn't appear to have the same color choices either.

I prefer the hoka Stinson 6/7 Atr over bondi because they're all terrain. Bondi is specifically made for road running
You're paying for the name though. But do those compare to Speedgoats?

Personally I like Brooks, Altras or La Sportiva.

Bondi 8 is a terrible shoe for flat feet. This shoe is for high arched feet. They run narrow in the mid foot and have a pronounced medial arch support.
Just ignore this guy. He gets off on bashing Hoka shoes in every deal thread.

You seem to be in the know. What are the best hokas for flat feet?
I've run a few thousand miles over the last few years with the Clifton 6, 7, & 8s. As well as some 6 & 12 hour ultras. My feet are so flat the suction to the floor, I'm sure there are better ones out there, but the Clifton's are hard to beat in my book!

There are definitely narrow arch issues in Hoka for some runners. Poking etc.

I tried Altra and On Cloud but they didn't last long and hurt my feet. Hokas are the only shoe that don't hurt my feet. Everyone has different feet.

I like nb 1080v13 and ASICS nimbus over hoka/brooks but its a personal preference. Try them in store and make a decision.

I'm one of them. Always had that issue with the Hoka Bondi. I have a flat for and Bondi's have a high arch that hurts my feet.

Hmm. You're calling me anti-HOKA and yet I posted two HOKA deals in the past 30 days. I'm warning people with a very specific type of foot type that Bondi 8 will likely not fit them especially in the standard D/B widths. I personally wore the Bondi 8 in 2023 and have experience with Bondi versions 4 and 6.
