Well for example lifting heavy for 4-6 reps. I used to always do 10-12 reps. But once I switched to doing 4-6 I saw great results. It also helped me know when to go up/go down in weight. If I can do more than 6 I go up in weight and if I can't do 4 I go down in weight. It takes the thought out of knowing when to increase my weight. Not saying the book is a one size fits all but it's got good info. At the very least it's worth ZERO dollars.

I read the book and there's some decent insight but it seemed like he had to hit a certain page count because it is bloated. I recommend finding a summary online to save some time.

Be careful giving this kind of advice out for free, you'll turn SD into a bunch of communal beefcakes

That's very common 101 level weightlifting advice (with the rep range min and max being variable) easily found on free forums like reddit and social media influencers.

Agree that there is a lot more useful information in this book. For me personally, his chapters on diet made a huge difference. I'd been working out for a long time, following different programs etc but was never happy with results. I read this book last year and started focusing on the diet advice as well. I've had by far the best year of results and look forward to continuing my progress this year.

In my personal experience, book was unhelpful and incomplete. Many little questions are unanswered and I actually injured myself following his plan, though I do not hold him accountable for that.

The best way to learn is to get a trainer and second best is to find someone on insta. Our bodies have lengths, ratios, and measurements that vary between us and a small difference in those numbers can vastly change how a lift should be done.

This dude is a pro athlete, he's not built the same as the vast majority of people reading this. He had visible abs before he started strength training. The more similar you are genetically and historically to him, the more likely the book will help you
