I love the idea and price.

I already have 4 duracell 2500mah rechargable batteries and Spiderman controller stands.

Better to use these or eneloop batteries? I've been using energizer batteries and stand for Xbox one controller in 2018 and now it stopped working

Pretty sure the eneloop ones are like 2000mAh per battery which is more than these. The only thing these has that's better it's that it's more convenient. I've been using eneloop batteries on my controller and just swap them out when the battery is low.

I'm in the same boat. Using IKEA LADDA batteries which are $2 a pop, but it's annoying to have to keep changing them out after 28 hours of gameplay since they die at the absolute worst time!

being able to drop them in a dock is nice, though having to pay $25 to do so is ugh. Would save $8 (4 x $2 each IKEA Ladda) so I can repurpose those for other things.

Edit: Just learned these cannot be charged via USB-C. They must be docked to charge, bummer.

So does this mean it's the equivalent of two 700ma aa's? Surely not…

They last about 12-16 hours. Honestly that should be fine since you're supposed to drop them in charger after use.

I'm done with docks. None of them seem to sell replaceable batteries. So when they stop taking a charge between 2 and 6 months later you've got a worthless docking station.

What about 8bitdo wireless bluetooth controllers? It comes with a dock and the batteries are built in Frown

I ordered the Xbox one for my 2 controllers, but I am worried about this. If the batteries degrade, I'm SOL

I have about a dozen 8bitdo products. Not a single battery has ever gone bad. The batteries are still good in my sn30 and pro. Which were like their first products.

The ultimate controller is the best Xbox controller I've ever used, sadly it is not wireless(and the wireless "Xbox" one is only wireless on PC. It has to be plugged in to use it on Xbox.(This doesn't effect me much since I made "battle stations" out of TV carts and 32in monitors for me and my kids that we can wheel around wherever we want)

If you do go that route, make sure to get one with hall effect joysticks. They will never ever drift.

As for this deal: Don't bother. They are no better than any other docking chargers that use outside pads instead of the built in USB. Just go on AliExpress or Amazon and grab a knockoff interior one. They will probably be a third the price and last just as long.

I bought 2 sets of these ones a year and a half ago for $18 total and all 4 are still working.

I have different rechargeable batteries, then later bought this dock. I much prefer the dock due to the convenience factor.
