the soup/cereal bowl 6pk is the real bomb - the deep bowls are the absolute best for ice cream recliner time.

This is true. Twice a year the corelle and partner sites offer 50% off. I believe it's in May and November; but to get free shipping, your after discount total has to be over $100. If you only need a few items, this is a better deal because shipping is free for prime members.

I'm not seeing these prices actually. Only a few I have the coupon on.

Corelle discontinued the 9" dinner bowls with a rim. Of course I need some for my set.I am considering jumping to IKEA. Its less expensive.
Is this the dinner bowl you are referring to: https://corelle.com/products/core...969101094?

I really liked those too but recently replaced them with the dinner bowls and I love them! They offer them in 20, 30, and 46 oz.

People rave about the durability of these things, but they're pretty thin. When they do break they shatter into a bazillion pieces like glass.

We have the Oftast from IKEA. They are made in France by Duralex.

Pretty much the same thing as Corelle. Very durable. We have them in our vacation rental and after 7 years we have only had to replace 2. That includes dinner plates, small plates, bowls and big bowls.

Only white. When they are in sale, less that a dollar for small plates and bowels and under 3 for the bigger bowls/plates.
Do they make covers for those?

Correlle's website is 40% off right now. If you spend over $100 it's free shipping. Some of this might be worth it if you only need a few pieces though. Prices are the same as their website sale though.

Not that I have seen. But to be honest I haven't looked. Did you check IKEAs website?

Just curious because i saw people mentioned in previous that ikea's versions are very similar and cheaper. Can someone confirm if ikea is better for the price for the basic plate and serving bowl? Thanks!

No, the bowl I have is 10.25" , the same size as their dinner plate.

I wish the 46 oz bowl was tall enough for pho.

We just picked up 25 of every item for $0.79 each but only 10 of the giant bowles. There's a large serving plate also that we bought 5 of called vitblecka.

Saw this last night after I went to bed. Ordered six of the salad/appetizer plates as I think that's the only size I'm missing after inheriting tons from a couple family members. Bam! They were on my front porch when I woke up.

They are a type of glass as I understand it. I've used a variety of bowls and literally none are as good as Corelle. Everything else is either as durable but made of plastic (melamine) or as heat-resistant but easily shatter (ceramic / porcelain). They aren't indestructible but there is literally nothing better than them except for design - they aren't the most attractive if you're trying to make a fancy dinner - but for everyday use, they are awesome.
