Are these enough of an upgrade over the Dyson v6? Price looks good I might bite.
Yes and no.
These are a pain to empty and aren't very powerful. The good is that they don't require a trigger being held down to function, have an adjustable height, and aren't insanely loud.
It's more of a side grade with different features. The V8 Absolute from Dyson is better, as is everything higher.
Not as good as the prior deal with two batteries for $199.
I've had several Dysons and they all end up in the trash due to bad batteries at some point.
I've got two cord zeros and I love them. I don't know what the complaint is to empty them, it's pretty quick and easy IMO (my family has never needed a tool, it just twists to unlock).
Suction is great, usability is great, works on carpet and on hardwoods. We swap batteries when one is dead with the other that is on the charger on the stand. If batteries die over time, as they tend to do, you just replace it instead of the whole dang vacuum like with the Dyson.

Anyways, it looks nice on the stand.
