Like with any other insulated water bottle, you should flush it with hot water first then pour whatever. It makes a difference how long the drink stays warm.

This one? [target.com]

If so, it is the one with a straw, different than the model in post.

Warning with these 💥
I bought two last time, and both of them had leaky lids. Wait for a good Iron Flask deal. It's been great imo.

Pass - This is quite possibly one of the worst water bottles I've ever owned. Barely keeps ice and hardly ever seals right so end up with water all over the car.

Regarding cup holder fit:
Please search SD for previous posts on this 32oz. bottle, and you'll find a variety of general and specific feedback on which cars and types of vehicles fit. Broadly generalizing, this 32oz.Camelbak fits cup holders of many pick-up truck and larger SUVs, but doesn't fit many car cup holders.

Regarding seal and maintaining temp:
Cold beverages have stayed, well, cold. I use it daily, but not usually for ice.
As far as leaks, I've had zero issues with both the drinking cap and overall lid, and I'm honestly surprised to hear people are having issues. The only leak I've personally encountered is forgetting to (fully) tighten the drinking cap after a swig, then I proceed to throw the bottle in my laptop bag.... but that's totally "operator error" on my part. The lid, if anything, fits so snug it requires a good grip to open/close. Hm, I might try a little touch of food-grade silicone lubricant on the lid thread, now that I think about it. Regardless, no leaks so far for me though.

Love mine, will likely order another at this price.

I have mine since 2021 when it was on sale at REI for $9.73.

Still going strong and it is my go to water bottle. Been on all my travels around the world and vehicles with no issues aside from being too large to fit in regular cup holders in vehicles.

Are these lead free? All these deals, im assuming theyre not and are releasing new model. Dont care if they are, just would like to confirm when theyre contaminated or not. With other brands ive read its as easy as dropping ice in the bottle to free the lead
