This is how many times, they adjust the quantity and charge the full price and force me to chat/call CS to cancel my purchase. I also lose coupon with this way. What a company!

I just replicated it (without actually checking out) and this seems to work:
1. Add item you want and something else to get above $10 the browser.
2. Go to cart on the browser and the app.
3. Click Proceed to Checkout on the browser.
4. Delete the item you don't want from the cart in the app.
5. Click Continue to Checkout in the browser.
6. Now it should update the total for only the item you want and you should be able to finished checking out from there.
