one of the worst cars i've ever owned, technology is very poorly designed and frustrating, countless recalls and range is mediocre at best.
there are many more comparable options when it comes to EV. Chevy Equinox being one that is also very well priced.

Now go to California and you will see a huge difference. We toured one of the UC schools and they had a whole floor maybe 2 floors in the parking garage dedicated to EV charging. I would never recommend owning an ev in most red states including Texas if you don't own your own charger.
2) To each his own. Android Auto and Carplay are just gimmicks and the Tesla software renders what most people use them for redundant.
3) You totally misunderstood this point. I'm not saying Teslas only last 2-3 years. I'm saying OVER THE LIFE OF OWNING THE CAR it will feel like you got a new car every 2 to 3 years just because of how many new features are pushed to the car. FOR FREE. No other car does that.
2. AA and CarPlay are definitely not gimmicks. How is it redundant? Tesla's software doesn't have Siri. It doesn't have Apple Maps. It doesn't have any of the software I use. I don't want a similar app. I want control to stop using something because they made a change I don't like. IF tesla's software really was better they would just include AA/CP because they would know no one would use it. The only reason to not include it is to control the user.
3. I do not believe that for a second. If they really improved cars they already sold then they would have added CarPlay 2.0 already. Instead all they offer is a non-functional, non-transferable self-driving feature that costs more than this VW's entire lease.
Kidding, but not kidding.
Coincidentally, I just read an article about EVs in cold weather and the impact to the battery capacity in freezing temps. The VW ID4 scored at the very bottom of the entire list. I guess that's one of the reasons why so many people here have said they suck.
You shouldn't need to replace the tires, and certainly not the wheels, after only 2 years and 20k miles.
And most leases, at least from in-house financing of reputable brands, include gap. This is why you shouldn't put down a down payment on a lease -- it may lower your monthly fee, but you could lose it all if you total the car.

I drive closer to 15k a year and this 24 month lease would get me to around 30k miles or 10,000 over this allowance of 20k miles for the lease term.
10,000 x.2 = $2,000 due at return. Plus a $395 return fee and possible wear and tear charges. $3,576 + $699 + $2000 + $395 = $6,670.Plus tax... ... lots of add-ons.
Leases seem to work for people who don't drive much but want a new car every few years with no worries. Like my senior parents. Leases don't work as well for people who use their vehicles for long trips or regular commuting.
Good luck!

They will also get a free upgrade if they purchased FSD and HW3 can't make the cut for unsupervised.
1%. Is that a failure?
Because I started out looking at other EV's first, like this one. And ended up realizing it was futile.
Everybody else is up, unlike Tesla.
Find a Tesla deal for this money
Is this replicable for N.cal , and no current ownership of EVs.
Thx.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit driving a VW. (I own a 2006 New Beetle convertible I bought new though it hasn't been my daily driver for nearly 8 years)
Good luck!
