I've had this inflater for 3+ years and its been great. I use it only occasionally (every other month) to fill tires on (3) vehicles but its been solid. It gets warm if you have to do a ton of air filling, but has never failed.

I've gone through 3 of these in the last 2-3 years. They fail too easily and quickly. And i just had a battery die a few months after the 3 year warranty. I am looking to switch to another brand.

I got one of these about 2 years ago on the slick deal for $27. It has worked great for me. Some people give it bad reviews but mine works fine. I purchased the tool itself without the batteries.

Dewalt has one with a similar form factor and it's got a 12v cig plug for filling without the battery.
