It's hard to beat the perceived value of these, but if you want a heavy duty buy-it-for-life option, I recommend looking at the Dramm. Putting a little oil on the o-ring keeps it sliding well and extends its life, and you just buy a new o-ring if it ever starts leaking. I'm about a decade in with no issue. It is made in the USA.

Evidently quality is the difference. Just go read the reviews on Sun Joe and found incompetent manufacturing…. You pay for what you get. I rather paid more for Made in USA than MIC.

What's special about the brass used in Dramm vs Joe? Assuming both are using silicone seal

I got the 3 pack one from Amazon for $10 and they work great. Not have to worry about plastic ones breaking apart.

I got one of the aqua joe hoses and it burst on me within the first 2 minutes

Probably good if you need something like this……. In January - but i wouldn't expect much long lasting or quality from this brand

Got it last time around. These sucks. They don't increase that much pressure. I get similar and/or better result from your everyday multi/adjustable cone nozzle.

I went down this rabbit hole, and ended up with a Dramm based on the research. So far so good just a few months in and no regrets on spending a few bucks more.

The Dramm is nearly twice the brass and is going to literally last forever. I'd personally rather have the better one forever than an inferior kind a few times. I also don't mind paying a few dollars more to the people that care enough to make the best, or supporting people manufacturing in my country when it makes sense. I like to work with nice tools. A BIC pen works, but I'd never write with that garbage even though logically you see that as a better pen than paying three times the price for a Uniball. The post right past yours tells you how this nozzle performs. I find your logic as faulty as you find mine.

these are not meant to increase the pressure they simply meant to last you longer than the not-solid-brass alternatives while still giving you the option of different spray patterns.

I bought a newer dehumidifier for my basement and it has a large hose drain setup for automatic draining. My previous dehumidifier had a much smaller drain spout. I was wondering if I could use this nozzle to hook up to the dehumidifier and connect the previous line to the other end to drain out of the basement. Thanks!

My neighbor has one of these types of nozzles, whatever the one Ace Hardware sells and she managed to hose of an entire huge driveway full of goose poop with it, I was impressed.
