I still haven't used any of the AI crap that came with the s24 ultra.
I'll guess $1800 for the ultra

Then there is a tiny portion of the population that wants a foldable or other niche phone.
I used to upgrade every year but now that phones are 1200 bucks I do it every 3 years (with the device payment plan credits)
My Verizon Play More plan is being charged an extra $5 a month for having a grandfathered plan. FFS
Every years they increase their fees. The most offended one is "Administrative fee". In the past, you can break the contract but not anymore since you don't have a "contract".

Edit: Maybe I spoke too soon...Pcmag states it doesn't have the mmWave band... Not sure how to take this as my last few galaxy phones have had this..
May the odds be ever in your favor. ✌️
It's been around $600 with the last S2xU trade-in at release for the previous two cycles. I think there was a deal back around the S22U release where you could get one for $400 at launch if you clicked the right combination of buttons on the Samsung website, but for the most part, that "if I click these buttons in this combination" stuff on the Samsung website has been resolved.
I figure it's $600 a year or $50 a month to have the latest hardware that, unfortunately, I use multiple hours a day and is on my person every moment I'm not asleep (isn't that sad of me to say?).
I miss the simplicity of life back when I had a Startac and a pager.

THAT was a tremendous deal about the Galaxy s[n] series. I'm a bit of a "power user" on my phone (~2K+ apps, many of which, I'd drop, only if necessary). Anyway, they dropped the SD card slots & they went with (s[21+n])Ultra no SD card option. The last SD card slot in a Galaxy "s" series phone I saw was the s20 Ultra.
I finally went with s24 Ultra 512GB last year. Much to my surprise, as with someone's comment above, there was barely anything that appeared improved in the normal functions other than the camera and a marginal increase in speed. That's it!
If they'd add the SD card slot back to it again, maaaaaybe I'd bite… otherwise I'm saving my money (and STILL, I'm paying for my s24 Ultra). Meanwhile, maybe I'll go with s28 Ultra to see if there are any MAJOR improvements from my s24 Ultra 512GB. If not, I might wait until s32 Ultra (if I'm still kicking).
I will never go with an i(nn)Phone. There is never anything improved about their technology other than, yes, Apple is a USA company (not technology, I know) & maybe a little bit more time between battery charging. That's all I've ever seen.
I'll guess $1800 for the ultra
