A bit more than the previous deal after taxes+fees but similar overall.
I purchased it last time and consensus was that you need to purchase the silver plan at minimum to get this price. Only need to buy one month of service. Wait another 30 days (60 days total) then the phone will be carrier unlocked.
It's $40 higher than BF deal since this only needs $35 plan but the BF deal needs $45 plan.

I went to straight talks website and just tried to get the bronze plan for 35$ and it wants me to buy a 5$ SIM card kit. It won't let me buy the bronze plan without the SIM card kit.
It would have been nice if OP shared all the extra details and hoops we have to go through.
