It's better to buy it from straight talk website directly since you could get better cashback (12% currently) from some cash back site. Also some chase card give 25% cashback for straight talk (capped at 15).

That can bring down the effective price to 204. (You still have to pay tax on 249 though)

A bit more than the previous deal after taxes+fees but similar overall.
I purchased it last time and consensus was that you need to purchase the silver plan at minimum to get this price. Only need to buy one month of service. Wait another 30 days (60 days total) then the phone will be carrier unlocked.

It's not $50 higher than BF deal.
It's $40 higher than BF deal since this only needs $35 plan but the BF deal needs $45 plan.

I ordered it from straight talk yesterday and got a cancellation email today. I will order it from Walmart and see.
Edit: nvm, payment issue. It got shipped.

I was saying it because there are cheaper options when you don't care about unlocking the phone, I bought a Metro iphone 13 for $175, and then bought a 2nd one for $135., also Cricket had a sale in December for the same price.

The $60 was only required on the new line and get the phone for $99, after that you could swap the sim cards and cancel the new line.
