My local Chipotle stores have this promotion for this week starting today. YMMV. $5 off $25+ orders. Order for pickup to save money.

For me, the price for pickup is the same as ordering thru chipotle app.

One inconvenience is that I can't order a fountain drink thru doordash pickup, only overpriced bottled drinks. If I wanted to eat in, then I would need to buy it at the register when picking up.

What's the point then? You'll probably get even less food than you would compared to using their app, which would be less food than ordering at the counter.

I think he means the price is the same before the $5 off coupon that is only on doordash,

I see. A bit surprising, I've always seen DD and UE prices be higher than restaurant menu prices, even for pickup. Maybe Chipotle is different.

To save $5 on orders over $25. Chipotle app doesn't have this deal. If you buy doordash giftcards at a discount, then that adds to the savings.

Amount of food would depend on your local Chipotle and the workers working there. There are ratings for each store and reviews you can read before ordering. And if you are picking up you could examine the bowl when picking it up and complain.

Afaik, DD charges restaurants 15% on pickup. But for major chains they probably have some sort of a deal so major chains on pickup tend to be close to their instore price. Delivery prices on other hand are usually inflated.

On their site this was under their weekly promotions and just showed up today. So it's likely until the end of the week. Maybe til Sunday?

This discount comes out of their "advertising" budget that Chipotle sets with DD. So, if that gets depleted, it will end early as well.

Interesting. My location in DD has $5 off $20+ order, but chicken is $3 more per item and brisket is $5 more per item vs chipotle app. So after $5 discount and needed 2x items to break $20, you are paying more even for the cheapest protein.

I just check the price difference from chipotle app and DD. DD is $.20 cheaper lol. $8.95 vs $9.15 for a chicken bowl. I'm shocked😮

The manager there manually has to adjust the price I think. If they increase the price in store but forget to update DD, then that's probably what happened.
