Looks like it would be very annoying to use. First, no way to crisp multiple layyers of food, so the photo showing the giant basket of perfectly cooked crispy chk wings is an absolute joke. The wings have to have room around them to cook and be crispy they cant just be stacked ontop of one another... Then you have to set the hot bulky lid somewhere when its done cooking? Strange design

I have one of these devices and a larger, more traditional air fryer. My wife got one as a promotional thing and even under those circumstances, I did not want this thing in our house. Have to admit, I use it much more often than I thought. I use it like a microwave, not like an air fryer. Reheat leftovers with better results than what a microwave would give you. I then just eat right out of the glassware I warmed up the food in. I would still say it's a niche item but if I worked out of an office, I'd totally leave there to warm up my food.

Convenient for the space, grabbed one a few months ago. Be warned this is the Walmart exclusive that is priced lower because it's missing the "bake" function.

Do you not rotate your wings when you cook them in a traditional oven? The same principle applies here.
The lid isn't as big as you think it is and any "bulkiness" is made up for by the fact that the glass container doubles as storage for leftovers. The most you'd be storing is the bottom plate and the lid, unless you buy extra glass containers.
If anything, the only concern for the lid should be that it could mess up your counters with the heat. They should have included a trivet for it.
I'm confused about the naming, as it says "portable" but does not appear to have any battery info (and the wattage would make battery operation highly unlikely). Where I live we get frequent blackouts and a portable food cooker would be a blessing (BBQ not permitted where I live).
Or am I missing something?

I think they put portable in the name because you can put a lid on the container and transport the cooked food. It would be nice if it ran on some ryobi batteries though.

Don't waste your money (and kitchen space) on this single purpose appliance.

Its portable so meant for people in cars or to use during lunch at work etc. 👍 pretty cool product, but i do agree for home use only def not the play.

Are you frequently crashing your car such that a thick glass item cannot be stored safely?
