- It utilizes glass bowls instead of teflon (cancer-causing material) and they easily dishwash without worrying about Teflon material degrading and entering your digestive tract. It cleans much nicer in the dishwasher than the teflon models that have crevices and screws.
- We don't use the teflon platform inserts and instead use our own stainless steel baskets that fit nicely into air fryers.
- It doesn't have an exact temperature setting but all 4 settings utliize a relative temp, which is written out on a sticker on the device (380 degrees, 400, 425, 450). If a recipe calls for 390 degrees for example, it's not a big deal if you cook it at 380 or 400. Let's be real -- you don't need supreme accuracy when air frying.
- It packs away so nicely under out cupboard and all 3 of the glass bowls we bought on the Costco set are nesting to save even more space. It's fantastic for putting away and taking out quickly.
Overall it is superior to all previous air fryers we've owned. It does a much nicer job on buffalo wings than any we've previously owned. It is fantastic for reheating food with a gentle crisp as well.Leave a Comment
