It's too sweet and it smells nothing like oud or saffron.
It smells like women's perfume to me.
I don't know why reviews say this is masculine.
Edit: After a few sprays, it started to smell better. I can now smell more toned oud and saffron. Some of the YouTube reviews mentioned that these cheap dupes sometimes need to 'macerate' - use a few pumps to let the air in the bottle. I think this is true. The scent is very different from the first spray.

Probably smells like a woman's perfume since the saffron note comes off similar to Baccarat Rouge 540 or Ariana Grande Cloud. With that said, both of those are also worn by men.
Oud for greatness/glory isn't a "manly mans scent", it's not a Blue scent, it's not an 80s old man scent or a freshie or even a sweet modern scent.
It's not a safe blind buy, but for those into fragrances and niche scents, it's very nice! Won't be for everyone though. I'm sure opinions here will be very mixed.

But if you're looking for a sweet smelling, bubblegum-style or fresh fragrance like you'd find at the mall, these types are always going to be completely different.
I didn't care for the oud stuff at first, but as you start being able to pull out little notes or nuances in them, these actually become really nice and you might find yourself dropping hundreds of dollars per bottle on them.
Again, stuff like Badee al Oud is not for everyone 😂
On the bright side.. you didn't have to spend $350 on oud for glory to realize it!

But I imagine leaving your bottles out in the sun even if they are not transparent are not good for them - the black bottle here could get warm and impact the compounds in this fragrance. If you like leaving your colognes out in the sun regardless, that's your business and your money.
