Celestial tea is $2.99 at Kroger right now and there is an additional buy 5+, save $1 each (mix and match). So effectively it's $1.99. If you have a Kroger local to you, you're spending $2 on the convenience of shipping with this Amazon 'deal' . For Kroger, you can pick up for free or likely get Kroger blue truck delivery for $4 and have the convenience of choosing various flavors / buying other necessities.

I gotta admit - I was a huge fan of Amazon S&S at first. Now, I don't have enough digits to recount the number of items I've had cancelled last second (and thus didn't get the 10%/15% discount), or the number of items I've seen increase in price by 30-50% without notice.

It's starting to feel a little like a bait-and-switch, and requires constant vigilance and shuffling.

Don't buy Bengal spice. Some trolls on amazon say it's good but weak, and you have to put 2 packets to make it good, so I bought it last time, 6 packs, and it's so disgusting

Might be other 6 packs on sale, true blueberry is 28% off, which is lucky because I couldn't find any in the grocery store last night

Is this because the items from Amazon are d different than b&m, or is it an overall flavor preference?

Did they downgrade the quality?

It's my favorite backup option if I'm out of a certain spice. But admittedly, it isn't great tasting on its own. It really needs sweetening and/or a creamer to balance it out

Having a hard time finding this. Some sources say they used to but don't now, but I cannot find anything definitive on their site.

I agree about subscribe and save. I treat it like an Amazon delivery day with more steps. The price of your first subscribe month is the price when you first subscribe. Other subsequent months are variable. I impulse "buy" S&S items all month based on deals and cull those new subscriptions that I change my mind on and old subscriptions with new prices by the editing deadline. Rinse and repeat. Definitely requires vigilance but saves me money by the % discount and allowing me a cool down period on deals I don't need.

As someone who has a multi-temperature kettle for my various teas? I love it. It's not too heavy, but a nice bright blend for when you want something quick and spicy, but not "chai that punches your taste buds out" strong Wink

Celestial Seasonings boxed teas have shipped inside paper bags inside cardpaper boxes for a long time. The paper bag has a kind of beeswax seal, and the box is wrapped in plastic to seal it.

The tea bags are all inside the bag, joined 2 at a time in a stack, not individually sealed.

Bengal Spice is my boy. Basically masala chai minus the chai. But wait for the ol' bogo at Publix.
