Pricey, other options are out there that include two 10Gb SFP ports for $20 less if you look around on Amazon.

The cheap Alibaba switches have mostly taken over. I can't speak for them, but something like this for $37 seems like a better deal.

Yes, and it includes firmware that contains.......I dunno, what do you think? TP-Link is in the headlines for having insecure firmware that won't be updated, do you really think that the brand "RealHD" is better?

In terms of the hardware specs, a switch like the one I shared is the better deal. There's enough conversation on sites like Serve The Home about these kinds of switches. Obviously, we don't know much about the inner workings of the firmware, and that's a fair point. Anyone that finds that as a deal breaker can certainly look at other brands that offer similar hardware.
