This is one of the coolest toy lightsabers to come out recently. The blade and kyber crystal change between 5 different colors, each with different sound effects and when it turns red the crystal has a special effect where it is bled (basically corrupted) and turns red. The hilt is modular and can be attached to other lightsaber parts sold recently. I got it for $25 after Christmas, and felt it was well worth that price. My daughter loves it.

It would probably be the best toy lightsaber released last year, except the Goliath Power Saber came out which is a generic lightsaber that has a blade that fully extends and retracts with a button push. It's more expensive at $60 MSRP, 35-40 on sale.

Thanks! I was sad when I saw it was sold out on Amazon because I could actually justify this purchase at $15. The kid has been wanting another lightsaber for, hopefully, fake dueling. I know these are not made for actual fighting, but at this price I won't mind it if gets roughed up.

Awesome! Make sure to toggle the switch when you get it. It's default on store mode, so the buttons are weird. Once you take toggles the switch, it works normal. Pressing big button turns on/off saber, pressing small button changes the color. Holding small button turns it red.
