Technically a very well made movie. Glad I went to see it in IMAX. However, this was a one watch movie only for me.

I started when DVDs were big. Then moved to Blu Ray. Then 4K Blu Ray.....I got tired of constantly replacing my library and scrapped all my physical movies. Just so much easier to watch digital too.

The difference is, they aren't actually buying anything. They don't "own a copy". They're leasing to watch, at least as long as that company is in business.

At least with the physical copy it *is* yours. You can lend it. You can sell it. You can watch it without anyone else watching you watch it.

Physical is still superior in sound and picture, but convenience can't be beat with digital

"Do what everyone else does." Everyone else buys digital movies, because most people don't want to have to make space for blu-rays. Not to mention that 4K blu-rays are never as cheap as digital copies. I'm a physical media man, through and through, but most people aren't.
What drove me to digital over a physical disc was the endless ads & other media vie premiers before even getting to play the movie. Digital didn't have this headache, granted that was many years ago & maybe things have changed in the last few years…

With that said, I do prefer the physical disc as I believe the sound & video is far superior to a downloaded replay. Plus I still run things through a stereo receiver to enjoy both formats.

So you've sold your privacy for convenience? And you own nothing in return?

I'm not judging. Whatever works for you. But that's what's happened.

Yep. And I am fine with it. In the end I owned obsolete formats that got donated to Goodwill anyway.....

Alright, sorry everyone, I guess my joke didn't land. I didn't want to plainly say it, but I'll say it... buying digital movies... why? To support creators? They likely don't get anything from digital sales. What it supports, is the distribution companies and studios, and what it hurts, is the physical media. Best Buy doesn't sell BluRay anymore, and this is why. Now, not to use it as a justification, but IMO there is no benefit to anyone who deserves it, so why buy them, when it's all available as free booty on the high seas? Catching my drift?

Good movie overall but most definitely a 1 and done type. Felt like it would have worked better as a documentary type vs how they marketed it

It'll be a sad day when they stop selling actual Media.
I know it's coming though.

That's part of why I said I'm a physical media man. Physical media is better. I was simply saying that most people don't buy physical movies. The first person said, "do what everyone else does, and buy physical," when everyone else actually buys digital.
