How much cheaper has this gone in the past? And are there every any good deals with 48 GB? I would get 4% back with Costco and the extra warranty.

Same here. Missed that deal. According to reddit, the 12-core M4 Pro has the best power efficiency for the money. Just wish this combo has more disk space without paying the Apple tax. Price match to AAFES/NEX to save on tax for those who qualify.

AAFES/NEX (for military only). For those who qualify, it's best to wait for a sale on Amazon/Best Buy/Costco and price match to AAFES/NEX to save on tax.

Fortunately no sales tax in Oregon, but I'm not in a huge hurry - maybe it will go a little cheaper at some point at Costco. I do like the 90day return policy and I get 4% cash back with my membership combined with my credit card.
