Quality/longevity, stretchiness, softness. I have tried to find cheaper alternatives that I like as well, and will continue to do so. So far...nothing else compares imo.

I would like solicited advice on why this shirt is worth 30 bucks.

I have tons of lululemon clothing, too much according to my wife, and most likely more than you. This seems like a warm deal at best. It's not really a work out shirt, more of a casual shirt. You can do better for a casual shirt, especially at this price.

My favorite workout shirt! They are a little longer so your belly doesn't peak out when you do overhead dumbbell presses or yoga poses that reach to the sky! In for 3!
It's not really a workout shirt. Maybe for yoga, maybe.

Even the picture of the model doesn't show him wearing it as a workout shirt, but as a casual shirt.

But you do you! You can work out in even their long sleeve button down shirt, that's the beauty of lululemon. It's just not designed for that.

Mine have held up. If you get a hole in one you can take it to a Lululemon store and they'll swap it for a new shirt. I had a pair of shorts I wore a hole in through CrossFit and they exchanged them for a new pair.

It's the only shirt a woman has ever asked me where I got it.

Try the 32 degrees brand shirts. I got 6 for this price, and they are top tier quality.

That was an actual Slickdeal. These Lululemon are not. You're welcome.
That's a nice shirt. I've used and abused mine and it just won't die lol.. I like it because it's a great workout shirt and just for casual use. It's stretchy (and keeps it's stretch longer compared to lulu), soft and longevity/quality.

Lulu I think it's more geared towards style. Functions the exact same for all intent and purpose. Not as good at wicking but since it has cotton it's pretty good at not stinking.

Lol there's no perfect fabric blend. It's just preference at this point and for which situation.

Agreed. I got mine on that previous Slickdeal. Mine have been to 7 countries, and I use them for dressing up, dressing down, undershirt, gym, and everything in between. Super versatile and an exceptional value at $5 each (32 Degrees)

Regular price of $58 for a plain T-shirt 😂🤣, and now making you feel like you've won the lottery by getting it for $30. It's not just a shirt; it's a badge of your willingness to be scammed in style. Go ahead, join the cult

The fabric of this t-shirt is a high quality 10% elastane blend. This used to be a common premium blend for athleisure brands until COVID. During and after COVID to cut costs and gouge customers many brands switched to 60/40 cotton/poly and kept prices the same. It's certainly overpriced at retail ($58) but for $29 a good deal if you compare like to like. Keep in mind that even a cheap, rough cotton staple t-shirt like a Carhartt K87 has gone from $11.99 just a few years ago to $24.99 today.

You talked me into buying one. A woman better ask me where I got it too.

It's my go to shirt for weight lifting and casual wear. It's a bit weird because depending on the color, the material feels different.

How do the collars hold up over time on these? Especially when run through the dryer on low?

I've tried to replace the Express 95/5 "Slim supersoft" shirts that were amazing and a great fitting shirt for a long time - but like another commenter hinted at, they changed their fabric blend up completely and the shirt is so thin and cheap now. Been hunting and still not finding a good replacement for just a good fitting everyday wear black t shirt.
