People are very easily slighted on this forum if your idea of a deal differs from their idea of a deal even slightly, and you will be thumbed down for it. I've been thumbed down for pointing out mediocre specs on hard drive "deals," just because people are not that tech literate and do not read up on the current speed standards and prices and only see hard drive size and connection interface/form factor as their deciding factors.
Therefore, your deal is being compared to a blackstone at 200$ and that's why people are thumbing down. They don't understand value and just look at price instead. All that being said, I am in no way a griddle expert, so if there is a legitimate reason why someone doesn't like this product, I encourage them to chime in.
Edit: Just checked and I bought the less expensive version for 219 not 250. This was in May 23'
