I've had one the last 6 months, love it. Bought two more with this deal. Others have better battery life; but for weight, UI, and brightness on turbo... great for my dog walks and traversing the woods. So lightweight I completely forget about it on my head.

if i add one 4000K to my cart its 14.99, if I add two 4000k it jumps to $39. However if I do two 5000K that does not happen! its $29.98. What gives?
I just tried w x2 of 4k, and see $29.98. I'm using android phone linking to Sofirn via SD App. Maybe they've fixed issue...

I know that, that's why I didn't say it was the same. It's a much cheaper quality version than this, but it gets me by. I'd rather just pay a few bucks. I got what I paid for.

Nah the Zoom LED is junk. This one has a Samsung LH351D 90CRI emitter.

Sofrin just burned me by refusing to honor their warranty.

Learned my lesson - never again Sofrin.

Help me understand why I wouldn't want this? Only $1.50 more I get almost twice the lumen output, also has a red light option, uses a more standard and higher capacity 18650 battery, and is slightly more discounted @ 59%. What am I missing? I know there's no magnetic base, and this one uses a SST20 emitter vs an LH351 in the OP (they're comparable, one not obviously better than the other).....so why go with the HS10? Thanks!

Just wanted to add that I own an H25LR for dog walking at night and it's excellent. Basically same prices as their Black Friday deals

Great light and I am replacing my 18650 Sofirn headlamp as I find I just do not need the extended runtimes. The weight difference makes this a more comfortable light. Nothing wrong with the larger one except it is larger and heavier and does start getting a little tiresome on my head. Will still use it for situations where I need extended runtime but this little one covers about 95% of what I need a headlamp for and is more comfortable and light.
What's your runtime?

I also use a 18650 lamp for extended run times but I want something for shorter stints. My AA lamp runtime is too low.

edit: also, is this spot or floody?
edit: looks floody.

I wouldn't bother. I have many different headlamps. One thing a lot of them have in common is they use AAA batteries. Those batteries hold around 800 mah. That will not last if you are relying on this light for multiple nights.

The headlamp I bought that exceeded my expectations was the Energizer x1000. I was wary but it works really well, is well made and includes a 1500+ mah battery (as measured by my charging station). It's better than it has any right to be with Energizer logo.

it's on sale at Amazon right now. I was looking at this op post because it resembles the x1000.

Maybe someone else has posted the x1000 deal already
