I purchased 2 when they were $99, and although locked for 1 year they've been working flawlessly for several months now on Tello using MKSD Ultra V5.6

For those having trouble porting in from TracFone, Straight Talk, or Total Wireless, here are the steps you need to take at the porting part. This is based on my experience. I have successfully completed port-ins from these sites after working out this guide. The guide below is taken from Total Wireless port into Metro. It should be the same for Straight Talk and other TracFone subsidiaries including TracFone.

Port Info Needed:
Most can be found here
https://www.totalwireless.com .. my-account.. manage-lines
Line: Phone number
Account: Phone IMEI (Text Four to 611611 to confirm)
Zip code: Your zip code
PIN: Text NTP to 611611 to generate your PIN.

----------------------
At the Porting part.
1. Enter the port info.
2. Metro contacts Total Wireless. (See picture 1)
3. Metro throws an error even if you entered everything correctly. (See picture 2)
4. The error is because Total Wireless is contacting the line owner to warn them about the port. (See picture 3)
5. Click on Correct errors.
6. Re-enter everything again and make sure everything is correct.
7. Metro throws another error. The same one as seen in Picture 2.
8. This is a bug on Metro site.
9. Click on the X at the top right to close that error message.
10. Metro proceeds to completing the order.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you clicked on submitting the order to Metro, your Total/ST/Tracfone line is immediately inactivated on their respective site, not allowing you to port that line any further even if Metro denied your order asking you to contact them or go to their store for completing the order. In order words, you cannot reverse the porting at Total/ST/Tracfone. I spent 2 hours with Total and it was going nowhere.

So I got a number from Visible for $5.
Then when I tried to place an order to port in Visible number. Metro website said your number has been reserved for port-in, everything look good. BUT at the very last step, it wouldn't go thru. It asked me to call Metro 1800 number. "Your security is important to us please contact us to complete your order."

I don't want to call because last time I called, they couldn't help, ended up wasting lots of time.

Anyone know if I can re-use my Visible number?
Don't want to pay another $5 for another one.

Wait 24 hrs for the number to free up from Metro system but sometimes it may not in which case use Visible online chat to "change phone number" -- the automated system will give you a new number

Autopay is off by default -- you created a 8-digit Metro account pin when you ordered service that you need to use to login

I'm confused on this. New phone can be any with metro sim? Can you clarify? I've tried online but it kept asking to change plan to swap device. I think it's because it's a 2nd line on a $75 plan which costs $35.
You can go back and enter IMEI again which will get past the wrong plan issue if using website but better off using Metro app instead via data connection

You need another eSIM compatible phone to switch to instantly -- otherwise you'll need a physical sim w/ compatible phone (not sure if you can buy locally otherwise check eBay)

Walmart might have it: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Metro-.../619713150

Metro usually cancels the port-in process automatically within a few hours. If not, call the port-in department at (800) 518-7519 to manually cancel it.

If you already have a Metro account, when a port-in process is pending, the option of adding a line after you login is not available at all.

I tried to add 2nd line, but only $150 discount available. Instead of $49, it is $479. Has anyone had the same issue?

Hmm. I tried to add another line and it says that I am not eligible to add another line to this account? Anyone know why? I only have 1 line on my account.

Same thing happened to me (with 2 lines). I have been calling for the past 3 days with no resolve.

It looks like this deal is still live to me unless transaction fails at the end. Try using a different browser Chrome works for me to show $50 price. My Samsung browser was showing the smaller discount

How do I add a second $50 iPhone 13 with the cheaper monthly service if I don't have to pay $75 for second line? My first two iPhone 13s are being delivered tomorrow with two separate new Metro accounts. Do I have to set up one of these accounts first before ordering a third phone with reduced service charge?

Update: I was able to purchase 2nd line by changing browser, cleaning cookies etc. The deal was sweetened to $35 a month for Flex Plus plan :-) Finger crossed the order would go through.
