It's mentioned numerous times in previous threads that it's just an error.This model only comes with 4090, not 3090.
That's not really a good excuse for a company that big, especially when it's a mid deal considering $1500 laptops are going to be out performing that refurbished unit. So it's only kind of a deal for anyone under the gun that needs something now. Since the buyers are doing ACER a favor, not ACER doing buyers a favor... the least they could do is put up accurate images.
I would absolutely bite the bullet, but I was able to successfully sneak into the 4080 deal at 1450 $. The extra 10% performance is just not worth another $450 for me

I hadnt seen anything on the mobile GPUs in the midst of all the news on the desktop ones. If that actually plays out like they are saying, and comes in March thats huge.

I have this. It arrived in immaculate condition, gorgeous screen with plenty of I/O, but I'm seeing a lot of thermal throttling of the CPU. The fans in the highest-performing turbo mode are ridiculously loud. I would love to compare to what other owners are seeing and if it's considered "normal". Was hoping for a no-fuss out of the box experience.
Wondering if the 5000 series will have better thermals or if gaming laptop users typically give up on the 20% or so of performance to save their hearing. On the other hand I'm having a hard time believing that I'll be able to get a new 5080 laptop at this price and I don't think that generating 3 interpolated frames for every real one should should seriously be considered as twice the performance....

This was at $1865 before.
I would bite at sub $1500 considering the UV problem and 5000 series.
I would also buy at:
Sub $1200 for the 4080
Sub $900 for the 4070
Sub $750 for the 4060
Just in case Acer's ebay store is watching.
