I vastly prefer high-tops for hiking. I find myself constantly battling the stray rocks in my shoes with low tops.

Should note Columbia recently switched out some of their shoes from being made in Vietnam to being made in China.

Columbia's shoes are awesome though. I was just really hoping these were waterproof. Really need some new lawn-mowing shoes

Even their waterproof ones are not fully waterproof unless they are goretex. The quality is not the same as it used to be years ago either. In any case these are decent normal dry condition shoes.

I'll have to keep an eye out! A waterproof pair might be good enough for mowing even if they're non-goretex.

A deal isn't 'expired' until all of the sizes are out of stock, not just your size.
Right now, the size 10 Wide, in both colors, is still available.

Right now, the size 10 Wide, in both colors, is still available.
When I made the post, the link only went to the message that I posted and showed the other shoes that were available. It did not go to this shoe's product site.

Right now, size 8 standard is available in the gray, no standards available in the brown, and 7 wide in the gray, and 10 and 10.5 wide in the brown.
