Purchased this last week. Either de-magnetize after purchase or set off the alarm when you depart.

I assume you meant the store's magnetized security tag affixed to the package? But my package does not have any.

For $3 it's a good set to throw in a bag but I've tried all the knockoff knipex stuff and nothing comes close to the real thing. A few years ago I had never heard of knipex now you couldn't pry them from my dead hands. Best tool I've ever purchased was my knipex stuff.

So they are tiny, they are 5" and 6" tools - not a bad deal if you want cheap and you want to pack light, for 3 bucks this is a killer deal when the KNIPEX® Cobra® 5" Groove Joint Pliers are $34.27 at my local Menards. There is a 15% off sale going on but the discount amount alone would pay for this set of 2! Great find, I don't need but for a few bucks I would pick them up.

These usually work at a specific frequency and should not be triggered by a magnetized piece of metal. If any magnetic field would trigger these alarms, tons of keychains, magnetic holders in phone cases etc. would trigger them all day long.

Same level quality as harbor freight just more expensive. Plus I don't have to play hide and seek to get it from HF.

Can you post a link? I couldn't find 5" & 6" slip joint pliers for $2/ea in the app.

I have a pair of old Craftsman brand (bought years ago) that were supposedly made at same location as Knipex and even stamped Germany on them that I keep at home. When am out on the job, it's all Knipex, those things are great and a must have.

Definitely worth this price if you can find them! I bought two pairs a few weeks ago, they're sloppy side-to-side but the mechanisms work well. No doubt a good value. I had no intention of using them as much as I did but my daughters got several miniature scene kits for Christmas so I used them for hours. The smooth jaws of the pliers wrench were perfect for flattening aluminum wire to make tiny spoons and drawer handles and for straightening bent wire. They worked well closer to purpose too on a few tiny bolts and acorn nuts. While I've used my full size water pump pliers much more often than the full size pliers wrench, in miniature form the pliers wrench has found more use so far. The pair easily fits in a pocket.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

since Briskseek stinks now, you can just change your store at the top of the lowes site.
Heres what i have found after choosing a location:
If it says 3.72, and unavilable to purchase online- it means they have it in stock, and at 3.72
- change store to the closest other lowes, if that store is out of stock it will say so, but then tell you how many are in stock at the nearest store (hopefully your original store). So yo u know the qty and if its worth a drive

If it says14.98, it likely says out of stock below that, but again will show you the nearest store with stock
