Yeah, and if you search OWYN, they specifically were one of the offenders. There was a case out there between them and the state of CA. I've been using their stuff but I'll probably switch to something organic that's regularly tested. From what I've read Sun Warrior, Orgain, Garden of Life, and Vega are all good in this regard.

I've had the shakes but never the powder. I wish there were more deals for vegan protein with mixability. I'd reduce they if it were more feasible.

Try this trick for mixability: fill cup 25% with water, dump protein in. Stir. Then put the rest of your water/milk in, stir again.

It doesn't work miracles with hard to mix stuff like most caseins, but it does a noticeably better job than dump, pour, mix most of the time.

The discounts don't just have to be on the specific product. If people have less trust in buying vegan protein in general then that can result in many company's discounting their products to avoid getting stuck with stock.

Thx, Op.

Sams has the 15 count shakes on sale atm, too, for $16.
30+ grams of protein and sweetened with monk fruit. I'm loading the protein boat with both.

I only tried vega once and the vanilla smelled like rotten grass and very strong artificial taste. I only finished it , because i mixed with some other flavored protein powder.

This brand tastes really good. I've been using their shake offerings at Sam's club and been very satisfied. Haven't tried powder, but would think they have very similar formula.

Kind of sucks they won't name names, but these articles say that they found the worst levels in plant-based, organic, and specifically chocolate flavored powders. Plants can more easily absorb metals from the soil they grow in so that makes sense. If you have to have plant based, then vanilla pea protein appears to be the safest option. The second link does name a couple brands that were rated safe by the study group.

27 servings per container. For anyone else struggling to find the info. Spotted in the nutrition label of the product.
