Would not surprise me if these are the irregulars or manufacturing defects. Go to the Adidas webpage for the PX2 and sort the reviews by lowest score. There's literally dozens of 1-star reviews, one after another, mentioning the same problem. Broken plates. Some customers even reported broken plates straight out the box before even putting the shoe on. Adidas is such a mess. They must be using the most incompetent contract manufacturer in SEA.

Sole is as high as the shoe itself. I hate this trend.

I got in on the Adidas Supernova Prima deal couple weeks ago for $58 (thru Adidas eBay site) and I remember a comment just like yours saying same thing and they turned out to be Great shoes and in perfect condition and they shipped in 2 days and are awesome running shoes but wouldn't want to wear them for anything else but running

These are very high stacked. Some will like them and some won't. It really is a specialized pair of shoes.

That was fake news. In order to run barefoot, one had to be doing that from childhood and developed foot strength. All the white people who thought were gonna run in the mountains like Indians ended up at doctor's office.

That's not correct regarding needing to be doing that since childhood. The issue was people thought they could just start out running the same mileage they were already doing in their support heavy shoes. One needs to slowly build up in those, with slow increases/gains, to allow their feet to slowly strengthen.

That's why it pays off to try a shoe and judge for yourself.

That's actually speculative and even if was proven true through controlled studies it's not feasible or practical.
