Why would you thumb down a deal that clearly says YMMV? Such behavior discourages others from posting items that may be available for some and not for others. Unless of course, you feel $1,999 isn't a good price for a $5,499 item, for those that can find it.
Bought 5 of them for my business all 5 broken with 6 months and no repair shop local that works on them which a waste of money I ended up buying Toro z turn replacements that have good customer service
It's slick cause of the price compared to what it normally sells for, not because of how it compares in your mind to another product

Got mine delivered...little dust and some water on it..come fully assembly...suspect it was store out side....come with batteries March 2022 and charger...batteries working so far...
Same battery date. Tested them with the snow storm that we had with my ego snow blower. 1.5 hours blowing and half left in charge so the batteries are very very good

I work for Lowe's and can confirm that this listing is not true at all. I can see pricing info in our system here and not one store in the entire country offered it for anything close to that price.
Not sure I know what your saying...what price?

I was told by Lowes assistant manager Lowes payed Ego $4500 per machine

What are the date codes you guys are seeing. I went to pick up mine and batteries were missing. All they could find was the "displays" model batteries, and they were dec 2021.
What I'm about to say will sound VERY weird. The older the batteries, the better. You get a FIVE year warranty, not from the date of manufacture but from the date of purchase. It's very likely you'll be able to replace the batteries and have the batteries beyond 2030.

I ordered mine last week and also had a scheduled delivery date this week and now it shows it's "back ordered". Hope my order gets completed! I am hoping that means they will send a new one and not scrounge together one that sat outside somewhere for a few years! Smilie

Had the worst luck with Lowes. Got one purchased at a local Lowe's back when the original deal hit, they had to piece it together as it was crated and I even stopped by to scope it out the after a couple days. They had one out front and they said mine in the back still getting worked on. Finally got my order is available last night after it was delayed. They said they sold the one in the back and only had the one out front for me. 😑 So frustrating, now they are sold out locally

The link is shipping the mower to my home for the same discount price. I wonder if they'll cancel the order? Is pick up a safer option?

Is it showing available? More than likely it is out of stock. So it's not going to matter either way.

Pick up is usually better as you can see the condition of it.

These are probably coming from a distribution center crated. I cancelled my in store pick for shipping instead.

Strange......Previously you said on another thread for a different deal:

"So I work at Home Depot and I checked pricing info in every store Nationwide and I can see in store pricing and this has never been that price EVER."

Anyway, attached is sale pic.

This guy appears to be a know it all. I read all his threads and you are right, he posted on 6-27-2024 Post #171556464 added 06-27-2024 08:33 AM by SplendidBelieve2807 in Hot Deals
So I work at Home Depot and I checked pricing info in every store Nationwide and I can see in store pricing and this has never been that price EVER. People like this who spread misinformation should be banned !
He claims he worked for Home Depot too, with the same line.
