"We found a wide range in mercury levels between types of tuna as well as among different brands. Light and skipjack varieties, for instance, contain much less mercury on average than albacore tuna."

So this is the one to get, no?

Generally, chunk/chuck light have lower mercury levels than solid albacore (so that's a plus vs. the 'cat-food' naysayers).

That said, I'm overly loaded from those 4-packs that were like $1.5 about 2 months ago, but this is not a bad deal if in need.

I did the same thing and paid around $6.50 for 10..I guess the good news is that it won't go bad since its sealed in airtight cans, LOL

I thought the same thing. It's showing late March on delivery for me. It's a good deal otherwise. If you select the 10 packs it moves the date to end of January to mid February. I was lucky and had a 15.00 promotional credit so I ordered x3 10 packs for 3.41 cents.

I wouldn't count on it. I bought some of these last year. I didn't notice anything off until I made a tuna and mayo sandwich with the third can. Definite off taste. I left them on the shelf for a couple of months to see if it was my taste buds. The cans looked OK but spurted water when opened. I had to trash 7 of them.

You can pay full price or just remember to cancel the S&S?
