1 Inch Adhesive Furniture Feet

431 77 January 11, 2025 at 11:41 AM Amazon
I have two end tables with circular bases that our robot vacuum doesn't recognize as an obstacle. I would like to get some adhesive feet that raise them about an inch, but all I can find are for stereo equipment [amazon.com]. And $22 for 8 rubber feet seems like a terrible price when I don't care about sound isolation.

Requirements are:
1. I don't want to drill/screw into the wood.
2. I don't want to see them once installed.
3. The tables hold drinks, so they need to be stable.

All ideas welcome.

Here is an idea:

if the table does not move, get these wooden pucks (https://a.co/d/78fjLb4), nail few of them together to get desired height, use spray paint to get right color. Then use double sided tape to stick them to the legs.

If you don't want to see them, use pucks that are less in diameter than the table legs, so they are hidden under the legs...

Note, if you move the table , don't slide it as these will come off ...

I have tried many stick on sliders that stick to the table leg bottom, but i haven't found any that stay put for a constantly moving table / chair.

And once the stick on thingamabob goes away, the glue stick to the floor and is a pain to remove ...

That was a good idea, but a bit more crafty than I could muster. I ended up getting a 12 pack of adhesive door bumpers for $7, and the robot is no longer climbing my tables.

However, just as you commented, I am worried about dealing with residual adhesive.

Thanks!
